Life of the South Acquires Insurance Company of the South

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –- Life of the South announced that it has completed the acquisition of Insurance Company of the South, a Georgia-domiciled property and casualty insurance carrier.

As a result of the acquisition, Life of the South will leverage Insurance Company of the South to support its growing presence in the insurance business in the nation’s Southeastern region.

The transaction occurred between Life of the South and its long-term partner, Lyndon Property Insurance Co., a member of the Protective Group of Birmingham, Ala.
