TORRANCE, Calif. -- A willingness to listen to customers’ concerns and opinions, followed by appropriate responses, are the qualities that earned Chrysler Financial Services the title of Captive of the Year for 2005.

The company received the most votes from readers of F&I Management & Technology magazine, beating 20 other captive finance companies. Nearly 700 votes were submitted for the Captive of the Year award, which was sponsored by RouteOne LLC.

Kelly Mankin, vice president of Chrysler Brands Marketing for DaimlerChrysler Services, accepted the award at the F&I Conference & Expo in Las Vegas earlier this month. He said the company’s Speed2Succeed meetings are a great way to keep in touch with dealers’ needs.

"We bring in all of our F&I managers and we listen to their concerns and then we communicate how we’re responding to those needs regularly," Mankin explained. "We’re honored to receive this award from the readers of F&I magazine. We’re absolutely committed to listening and responding to our customers better than any other finance company."

Chrysler Financial will announce its 2006 schedule of Speed2Succeed meetings in the coming weeks. For more information, visit www.cfc.com.
