DALLAS -- lanelogic, the used-vehicle trading network that uses real-time sales data to conduct electronic trading between automotive dealers, has named Bruce Thompson as its founder and CEO.

Thompson, who began his automotive career in Dallas, is the former creator, founder and CEO of the American Auto Exchange, where he pioneered inventory optimization for dealerships and dealer organizations.

Using those American Auto Exchange recommendations Thompson created, lanelogic simply redistributes vehicles from dealerships where they are not likely to sell, to dealerships where they are likely to sell in less than 28 days, for optimal profit.

In addition, lanelogic provides five-minute bids for vehicles dealers wish to sell in an attempt to keep their lots stocked with the best-performing vehicles on a risk-free basis.
