The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. has launched an upgrade to its customer-tracking software that will enable dealerships that do not currently use its dealer management system to buy Reynolds’ tracking software, according to the Dayton Business Journal.

Previously, to use Reynolds’ customer management software, dealerships had to already be using its dealership management system, which includes accounting and payroll software. Now, dealerships can order Reynolds’ Contact Management 3.2 even if they use another company’s platform.

Contact Management 3.2 also allows new and existing Reynolds customers to better track people who come into their showroom, helping to monitor floor traffic and personalize customer visits. It can also help dealerships manage their personnel.

The cost of the product upgrade has not yet been disclosed.
