AutoSoft Integrates with GM RIM

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa.-- AutoSoft International announced that its dealer management system is now General Motors Retail Inventory Management (RIM) certified. The certification will enable all General Motors Corp. dealers currently using the AutoSoft DMS to fully transfer all necessary information from the DMS’ Parts Inventory module to the GM RIM program.

In addition to the processes for GM RIM included in the AutoSoft DMS Parts Inventory module, ASI is also providing and installing two additional programs, the AutoSoft Data Utilities and Cyclone Interchange, at no additional cost.

AutoSoft Data Utilities extracts the GM RIM-specific information from the DMS Parts data and automatically shares that data with the Cyclone Interchange, which transports it to GM. The interoperability of these two programs will provide a single connection that enables the AutoSoft DMS to easily and rapidly begin communication with GM over the Internet.
