Melno Park, Calif. and TORONTO—After several years of discussing industry trends and ideas, the management teams of AutoTradeCenter and Onlane have recently come to agreement. As of late July, the two companies merged into one large online remarketing firm, ATC-Onlane, which offers a wide spectrum of services, reported AutoRemarketing.

According to Mark Jensen, chief operating officer of ATC, the two teams have a similar vision about where the industry is growing.

ATC-Onlane’s services will be offered at all three of their office locations. These will include pre-turn in through post-sale to automakers, consumer off-lease, rental car and commercial fleet companies, in addition to franchised and independent dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Jensen and president of Onlane, Clive Kinross, agreed that the merger will allow both companies to leverage their resources including capital and people, to better serve their customers and penetrate the market.

Together, the two companies will remarket more than 200,000 units, executives said.

Roger Butterwick, ATC CEO, will become CEO of ATC-Onlane and Michael Stein, CEO of Onlane, will be chairman of the board of directors at the combined company.
