Overland Park, Kan.—O’Neill Honda’s recent implementation of a new electronic menu software program called “The F&I Menu Wizard,” has customers buying more products and has resulted in higher margins, according to dealership president Rick O’Neill. The software program, offered by Honda Financial Services to Honda and Acura dealerships nationwide, is helping dealerships become more profitable and customer-friendly, while remaining alert about regulatory compliance issues.

Dealer relations manager Leon Wharton supported the installation process of the new menu software and provided training to F&I personnel on how to use it.

According to O’Neill, the software has made the F&I process quicker and more satisfactory for customers and helps identify store trends or problems.

Honda Financial Services also introduced a one-day training seminar that explains how dealerships can make the most of the software and provides information on sales techniques.

Along with the software and the seminar, Honda Financial Services has also implemented an online information library called “The Source.” The site offers information on products and how to best present them, training modules, training schedules and sign-up information.
