STAR Organization Presents Arkona With 2006 Implementation Award

SALT LAKE CITY—Arkona Inc. announced that it has received the Excellence in Standards Implementation Award for 2006 from the STAR Organization.

The Excellence in Standards Implementation Award recognizes companies that have achieved extraordinary success in the implementation of STAR Standards in their business solutions.

“The goal of STAR is to establish voluntary industry standards for the exchange, management and integration of information that support the management, delivery and evaluation of retail automobile products and services,” said Dick Malaise, CIO, NADA. “STAR has created flexible, cost effective standards and methodologies for interoperability between IT systems and Arkona has been a strong proponent of our organizations efforts for several years.”
