INDIANAPOLIS—Owners of 14 J.D. Byrider dealerships were recently applauded for being the top performers in the nation’s oldest and largest used-car franchise system. The President’s Award, the company’s highest honor, was awarded to them based on their earnings, customer satisfaction and the quality of their portfolios (e.g., delinquency and charge-off rates).

“These 14 stores and their owners embody the best qualities of our business model, particularly when it comes to customer satisfaction,” said Jim DeVoe Jr., J.D. Byrider’s CEO. “This year, award-winners were required to have a customer satisfaction rating of more than 90 percent.”

“Our franchisees represent the best of our industry,” said Steve Wedding, Byrider’s president of franchising. “These award-winners represent the cream of the crop.”

The President’s Awards are announced at the company’s annual convention. This year’s award-winners are located in Greenwood, Ind.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Burlington, Iowa; Florence, Ky.; Brockton, Mass.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio (two locations); Fairfield, Ohio; Toledo, Ohio; Lancaster, Pa.; Longview, Texas; Lynchburg, Va.; Roanoke, Va.
