Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — AutoUSA has signed a partnership agreement with CarGurus.com, an online auto community Website. The agreement increases Internet exposure for AutoUSA’s more than 4,000 dealers, who will be listed on the CarGurus.com Website when searches are done for vehicles in their vicinity. Leads submitted to CarGurus.com will also be made available to AutoUSA’s dealers.

“This is a great opportunity for our dealer customers, as CarGurus.com appeals to an audience and has traffic flow different than other third-party Websites,” said Phil DuPree, president of AutoUSA. “The more places a dealership can be found on the Internet, the better; and with its unique business model, CarGurus is an exciting place for our dealers to be.”

CarGurus.com has been live on the Internet for over a year, although the official launch was in January of 2007. The online auto community differentiates itself from other car research and auto portals with an “open architecture” forum. Rather than providing content from industry sources, CarGurus supplies tools to its users so they can post information and reviews about their cars, services, parts, and accessories; as well as conduct research, ask questions and interact with other users.

“AutoUSA is one of the premier new car lead services in the marketplace, and we are pleased to be able to provide their dealers with an untapped and rapidly growing market of potential car buyers,” said Langley Steinert, founder and CEO of CarGurus.com.

AutoUSA is known for its quality third-party leads that result in the industry’s highest closing rates. CarGurus.com joins AutoUSA’s network of partners including Edmunds.com, Kelley Blue Book, MSN Autos, Yahoo! Autos, AOL and AutoVantage.com.
