JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Allstate Credit Division (ACD), a provider of products and services for the automotive dealer industry, has announced an agreement with Mechanical Breakdown Protection Inc. (MBPI) to insure MBPI vehicle service contracts through First Colonial Insurance Company (FCIC). MBPI plans to convert its business to ACD-backed contracts over the next 90 days.

“MBPI has a long history in the industry and a top service operation, we are looking forward to a long relationship,” said Tony Wanderon, president, Allstate Credit Division. According to Wanderon, this agreement shows Allstate Credit Division’s continued commitment to the industry and the vehicle service contract marketplace.

As part of this agreement, MBPI will transition to ACD-backed contracts over the next 90 days, beginning Oct. 1.
