Chase, General Motors Announce World MasterCard For Business Card

October 18, 2007

WILMINGTON, Del. — Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., General Motors and MasterCard announced the first-ever MasterCard World for Business credit cards, one of which is the GM Business Card World MasterCard.

GM Business Card World MasterCard cardmembers have the opportunity to earn a full three percent on fuel at the pump, dining, office supply stores and GM dealers' parts and services. They will also receive a full one percent for all other card purchases.

Earnings can be applied toward the purchase or lease of more than 80 eligible GM vehicles at any time, and can be used with most other GM incentives.

GM Business Card World MasterCard cardmembers also enjoy:

•No annual fee;

•No limit on the amount of points that can be earned or on how much can be redeemed on any new eligible GM vehicle;

•Earnings do not expire; and

•No preset spending limit.

"Our customers expect exceptional value and ease when buying a GM product," said Bob Hoffman, director of cardmember services, GM. "Through our partnership with Chase Card Services, we have designed a program that provides value by making it easy for our customers to put their everyday business purchases to work for them, and help put them into a new GM vehicle for business or pleasure."

Also, the GM Business Card World MasterCard will include blink, which is a contactless feature that allows cardmembers to make purchases by simply holding their card near a point-of-sale terminal at checkout, instead of swiping their card or handing it to a store employee. As cardmembers place their Chase card with blink in front of the point-of-sale terminal, the terminal will quickly emit a signal to acknowledge payment confirmation.

Chase cards with blink redefine the payment experience for cardmembers by providing increased speed and convenience and reducing transaction time by as much as 40 percent.

"Travel and transportation needs play an integral role in the everyday spend of our business customers," said John Delaney, president, business card, Chase Card Services. "Our partnerships with GM allows for an easy and efficient way to make these essential purchases more rewarding," he continued. "When our MasterCard World for Business cardmembers start their GM car, they will simultaneously be earning extra rewards."

MasterCard World For Business cardmembers also receive:

•Comprehensive Financial Management Tools - no preset spending limit, quarterly and year-end summary reports

•Travel and Concierge Services - personalized concierge and travel services that can help with reservations, recommendations and emergency assistance

•Cardmember Protections - purchase assurance guarantee and extended warranty protections as well as identity theft resolution services

•Unsurpassed Acceptance - cards can be used at over 25 million locations worldwide

•Rewards that do not expire

"The introduction of the World MasterCard for Business reflects our commitment to working with customers like Chase to launch innovative programs that meet the needs of their cardmembers," said Bruno Perreault, group head, small and mid-sized enterprises, MasterCard Worldwide. "For high spending small business owners, the new cards address the need for unique benefits and rewards they can use to add value to their business and enhance their customer relationships, while offering spending flexibility and unsurpassed acceptance."
