The deadline for nominating dealers for the magazine's Regional Pacesetter award is fast approaching, with less than seven days remaining (Nov. 12). The award recognizes five regional dealers who set the pace in running a finance department marked by professionalism, ethics and profitability.

Nominated dealers not only have a highly profitable F&I department but also earn these profits by employing compliant, ethical and customer-centered processes that also allow them to maintain high CSI ratings. They are at the forefront of building up the reputation and credibility of F&I among dealers, consumers and their communities.

Five dealers will be selected — one from each of the following U.S. regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West and South. Qualified judges will evaluate all entries based on the following criteria:

  • Success/profitability in the finance department
  • Sustaining a compliance culture
  • Ethical employees and practices, regular employee training
  • Community support and involvement
  • Other programs, processes and initiatives that contribute to a top-notch F&I operation

The five winners will be honored with plaques and featured on the cover of the January 2008 issue of F&I Management & Technology. Their achievements also will be featured in an exclusive cover story in the issue. One of these regional winners will be selected to receive the coveted seventh-annual F&I Dealer of the Year Award at a NADA ceremony in February 2008.

To nominate a dealer, fill out the form available at:

Be as thorough as possible. All entries must be received by no later than Nov. 12, 2007. A dealership may enter for its own agency.
