ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Greg Kelly has joined Automotive Information Systems (AIS) as director, and will now oversee the company’s marketing efforts. In addition, Kelly will work on corporate planning and strategy. Kelly was most recently a senior manager at General Motors (GM) in Detroit, Mich., where he managed Web development, fulfillment operations and electronic lead generation.

"Greg possesses a solid understanding of incentives, automotive dealership operations and marketing strategies to develop and grow new business for the company," said Troy Ontko, president of AIS. "He has a strong ability to define a plan and communicate it to others."

During his 20-year career at GM, Kelly development and implemented the company's first Incentive Management System and the industry's first Web-based VIN/Incentive Lookup System. He held several marketing/financial and field assignments including VSSM, GMAC and Pontiac/GMC.

Kelly is a results-driven marketing leader with a proven ability to plan, develop and execute successful marketing/business programs. His skills include innovative leadership, communication expertise, business savvy and extensive technical understanding.

"Automotive dealerships receive thousands of different incentives and rebates programs from the OEMs and Greg's insight with dealers' frustration regarding incentive management will certainly help AIS simplify the information so dealers can move the product," said Ontko.
