DAYTON, Ohio — Reynolds and Reynolds announced that Finbarr J. O'Neill has left the company. The announcement comes on the one-year anniversary of the merger between Reynolds and Reynolds and Universal Computer Systems (UCS).

O'Neill, who had served as vice chairman of the company throughout the first year of the merger, had been responsible for helping to lead the integration of the two companies and to reflect the voice of the customer back to the company. He joined Reynolds in January 2005 as CEO.

"All of us at Reynolds truly appreciate Fin's support throughout the merger and transition," said Bob Brockman, chairman of Reynolds and Reynolds. "He has helped launch the new Reynolds successfully, reinforcing the fundamental strengths of the Reynolds brand in the larger organization and working to solidify Reynolds as the premier dealer services provider."

O'Neill added: "It has been a privilege to have led Reynolds and Reynolds and to have helped guide the company through this transition, supporting our customers through it all. Reynolds has a strong culture of customer focus. That culture, coupled with the strong product focus that Bob brings, promises to deliver even greater value to Reynolds customers. Now, I look forward to the next chapter in my life."

Brockman concluded: "Everyone who knows Fin is impressed with his integrity and with his track record of success in this industry. We all wish him well in his next endeavor."
