Cincinnati, Ohio — Dealer Specialties, a division of Dominion Enterprises and a provider of data and photo collection, inventory management and data distribution services, has partnered with Carfax to provide dealers with new dynamic window labels containing vehicle history information.

The new dynamic window label highlights help reinforce consumer confidence in used vehicles and speed up the decision-making process. Used-car shoppers can instantly find out important details such as ownership history, including Carfax 1-Owner cars, whether the vehicle qualifies for the Carfax Buyback Guarantee and if no accidents or structural/frame damage have been reported to Carfax, just to name a few.

“This new venture is a natural extension of an already highly successful relationship with Carfax,” said Glen Garvin, general manager of Dealer Specialties. “The inclusion of vehicle history data on window stickers is a perfect merger of our respective industry strengths, which benefit both dealers and consumers. What makes this venture so significant is that the specific information about the vehicle’s history will be displayed on the window sticker at the vehicle.”

Labels can be generated by Dealer Specialties right on the lot, once dealers run a Carfax Vehicle History Report for their inventory.

“We believe vehicle history information should be readily available anywhere people shop for used cars,” said Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax. “Dealer Specialties’ extensive dealer client base ensures that more used-car shoppers will have this information up front in the buying process, right on the car itself. These dynamic window labels significantly enhance buyer confidence and ultimately make a positive impact on the dealers’ bottom line.”

Auto dealers already see unique advantages for their business using the new labels. “This is a sticker we would use on all of our vehicles because it creates talking points for salespeople, which helps the presentation and helps customers with the selection process,” said Paul Golias, used parts manager, Greensboro Crown Honda.
