NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Dealerskins, a division of Dominion Enterprises and a provider of automotive dealer Web solutions, announced the advancement of search and Internet expert Timothy Nobles to Dealerskins product manager. Nobles moves into this position after successfully heading up the Search Engine Marketing and Optimization Department for over a year.

Since joining Dealerskins, Nobles has developed one of the best-known search engine marketing and optimization divisions in the industry and become a much sought-after expert. Dealerskins was recently recognized by Google as an AdWords Qualified Company, a status awarded based on strict qualifications. Qualifying factors include Dealerskins’ team — which has three Google AdWords Certified Professionals, the size of the total AdWords accounts managed by Dealerskins and Dealerskins’ experience with AdWords campaigns. Due to his experience and knowledge of the industry, Nobles was also recently selected by Google to be one of 75 guests at the first-ever Google Local Symposium.

Nobles has played a significant role in the growth of Dealerskins, which, in 2007, reached 10 percent market penetration as a provider of automotive dealer Web solutions.

“Fifteen months ago our search engine division didn’t even exist. Timothy developed a model that dealers love and it is helping propel the company into a huge Internet presence. He completely understands the industry and I am excited for our dealers to have him head up our product development,” said Kevin Eggers, Dealerskins director of operations.

Nobles began his e-commerce career at Digital Concepts Inc., a regional chain of six CD and DVD stores. Nobles realized the huge online potential and started posting the inventory on eBay and Amazon.com. From there he created an entire online model for the chain that in just one year generated $7.5 million dollars in additional revenue.

Commenting on his new position, Nobles stated, “Dealerskins bases its development on feedback from the actual users — car dealers. It is my job to ensure that these requests are explored, listened to and turned into something useable and profitable. We need to stay on the front edge and launch the best solutions in the industry.”
