LAS VEGAS — MPi, a provider of profitability tools for auto dealer service departments, appointed Tim Ingram, formerly MPi’s vice president client launch, to the newly created position of senior vice president of operations. In this role, Ingram will be responsible for overseeing the installation and successful implementation of MPi’s customized electronic dealership generating solution EDGE (formerly known as ARGIS), and the World Class Inspection Program at client sites. Ingram is charged with ensuring the success of each installation throughout the entire lifecycle, from implementation to training and client support. He will be based out of MPi’s Las Vegas offices and report directly to David Boyle, MPi’s president and COO.

“Tim is an invaluable addition to our team and has done an outstanding job in the year that he has been with us,” commented Boyle. “MPi has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years and the number of auto dealers that use EDGE to increase the additional parts and labor dollars sold per vehicle inspection, has grown to over 500. In order to continue our aggressive growth strategy with both dealers and OEMs, the company created the new position of senior vice president of operations. I am very excited to have Tim take this new position,” Boyle added.

Ingram brings to MPi more than 27 years of experience as a business operations executive at ADP along with a comprehensive knowledge of project management, customer service and call center management.

Prior to MPi he served as the director of client support at ADP, where he managed a staff of 40 associates providing call center support for more than 1,500 clients throughout the United States; troubleshooting and handling installation for hardware, and software applications as well as training of clients and associates. In addition, he improved customer satisfaction by 28 percent through his focus on teambuilding and ensuring ADP had raving fans.

Prior to that he served as director of implementation at ADP, where he handled a full range of software and hardware implementation as well as quality assurance, and participated in successful retooling of entire product and installation.

Commenting on his new position, Ingram stated, “As senior vice president of operations I will be further strengthening our industry-leading team of engineers and support staff to ensure even higher revenues in parts and service for our clients using the EDGE product. I am very excited as I believe our future is very bright and our products and services are well designed to help dealerships increase revenues in these tough economic times.”
