CLEARWATER, Fl. -- CIQ Inc./Voisys, an 800- and Internet-based lead generation system serving the automotive non-prime, prime and lease markets, announced today the release of Voisys Mobile. The instant communication medium allows auto dealers to send a text message to a customer with information, such as sales specials, rebate incentives, service offers or purchase incentives.

Voisys Mobile also provides dealers with a report of how many messages were opened, how many were responded to and how many were opted out. Together Voisys and the dealer can search the database and target select consumers interested in a specific deal.

The program's release is well-timed for the automotive market, especially with special finance customers, said Michael Snider, national sales manager with CIQ.

"Perhaps they did not qualify to purchase when the lead was originally received by the dealership, but now they have their government rebate check and are ready to buy. Voisys Mobile is a faster and more efficient option to reach these in the market consumers," he said.

Considering the fluctuating financial circumstances of these customers, many leads do not result in an immediate sale at the time the lead is submitted. But Voisys Mobile can still be an effective tool to reach these consumers in a continuous and timely manner.

Some OEM incentives are only available for a few days, which doesn't allow time to create a print ad or to send out a direct mail piece. Email is faster than direct mail, but spam filters ensure that very few emails - about 10 percent - reach the consumer and get opened. In comparison, an average of 80 percent of text messages are read, which enables dealers to notify their customers immediately about rebate incentives, service offers or auto purchase incentives. These incentives can be what the customer needs in order to afford to buy a vehicle.
