CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -– Auto/Mate Dealership Systems, a software developer for the automotive industry, has integrated its Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS) with Hyundai's web-based Dealer Communications System (DCS).

The new interface allows Auto/Mate's dealer clients to quickly and easily send financial statements, new vehicle delivery information, parts orders/parts returns and claims data directly from AMPS to Hyundai via the Internet.

"This new module streamlines several key Hyundai data submission processes for dealers," said Mike Esposito, president of Auto/Mate. "We know that by increasing administrative efficiencies, we're saving dealers time and money, which is why OEM compliance continues to be a major part of our DMS development path."

AMPS Hyundai DCS interface features can address financial statements, vehicle delivery reporting, parts order/parts return and claims.

Users can transmit end-of-month P&L statements and financial reports created in AMPS directly to Hyundai with a few simple keystrokes.

With vehicle delivery reporting, AMPS transfers vehicle delivery data (deal No., buyer name, sale date, year and model) directly to Hyundai from the system's F&I Billing menu. Once a deal is sold or closed in the system, you can indicate one or multiple vehicles (up to 999 per transaction) as delivered to the customer. A message displays for each transaction successfully completed.

With the Parts Order/Parts Returns feature, parts orders and return data can be submitted from AMPS to Hyundai. When parts order data is entered, the interface displays the total parts requested, allowing users to choose which part orders to process. Users also have the option to add special instructions in the order.

Service system claims such as recall campaign, pre-delivery inspection, warranty, Hyundai protection plan, replacement part and transportation can be processed right from AMPS' Service System Main Menu. Users also have the option to include miscellaneous charges.

"Auto/Mate's Hyundai DCS interface is a huge timesaver," said Bonnie Wells, controller at Garvey Hyundai in Queensbury, N.Y. "Everything can be sent right from AMPS directly to the manufacturer, which eliminates the need for duplicate data entry."

AMPS is a comprehensive dealership management system with more than 20 integrated modules to help dealers manage their business. The system supports an unlimited number of users, workstations and printers. AMPS is available as both a cost-effective in-house and application service provider solution.
