Hudson Cook Partner Michael Benoit Elected to Legal Association

HANOVER, Md. -- Hudson Cook LLP, a nationwide provider of legal compliance services for the financial services industry, announced that the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers has elected Michael Benoit, a partner in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, to its professional association.

The College's invitation-only membership is limited to lawyers who make significant contributions to the practice of consumer financial services law. Robert Cook, managing partner of the firm, said "We are proud and pleased that the College has selected Michael. The firm is honored by Michael's selection, and we congratulate him."

Benoit is a cum laude graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and holds a masters degree in music from the University of Michigan. He also holds a bachelor of music degree from the University of Miami where he graduated magna cum laude.

He is a member of the District of Columbia and Ohio Bars, and is a member of the American Bar Association and its section on Business Law where he serves on the Consumer Financial Services Committee.
