TORRANCE, Calif. — With challenges continuing to mount and answers slow to come, the 2009 F&I Conference & Expo will host a special executive panel aimed at providing attendees with advice for managing and forecasting F&I related losses, as well as recommendations for building a firm foundation for uncovering new sales and revenue streams.

Scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m., the “Tackling Challenges Head-On” panel will be led by finance expert Marguerite Watanabe, president of Connections Insights. She will lead a panel of four industry experts, including two automotive credit analysts who will provide a snapshot of the consumer credit markets.

Joining Watanabe on the panel will be Pete Biscardi, president of NAC;  Lewis Kuhl, attorney for Pathman Lewis LLP; Peter Turek, automotive vice president of TransUnion; and Melinda Zabritski, director of automotive credit for Experian Automotive.

The 2009 F&I Conference & Expo will be held in Orlando, Fla., at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention, Sept. 21-23. The show will cover a broad array of F&I- and dealer-related topics, including workshops on the special finance market, compliance, F&I product sales, lead generation, and more. The conference will open with a special keynote address from NADA chairman and Iowa dealer John McEleney.
