EAST HADDAM, Conn. — The Vets-Cars Group is introducing the Vets-Shield Command Care, a vehicle service contract geared toward active and former military and their families.

"We spoke with many active and former military members,” said Chris Walsh, Vets-Shield Inc. president. "The concerns we heard pertained to quality of coverage, privacy and identity theft, price protection and claims support. The result of our research is a partnership with National Auto Care of Westerville, Ohio."

The Vets-Shield service contract is modeled on NAC's highest and best level of coverage, according to Vets-Cars Group. The planned national roll out for Vets-Shield is Veteran's Day 2011, according to the company.

“We at NAC are thrilled to be a part of this important undertaking," said Major Henry Paoli, NAC's national director of business development.
