HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — cuautocoupon Inc. announced the signing of its third California credit union to its growing network. Over the past several weeks, the company has also added more than 20 auto dealers in that state.

Western Federal Credit Union in Manhattan Beach, Calif. is the latest credit union to join cuautocoupon’s network, joining The Credit Union of Southern California in Brea, Calif. and Lake Forest, Calif.-based Eagle Community Credit Union.

Western Federal Credit, a $1.74 billion asset credit union, serves almost 155,000 members largely in Orange and Los Angeles counties. It’s a multi-state, multi-sponsored credit union that was founded in 1963, and currently stands as the 16th largest credit union in California.

“We are really excited about working with cuautocoupon to help grow our auto loan portfolio,” said Gordon Howe, Western FCU executive vice president and COO. “We have found this to be a great solution that allows our members to communicate their loan needs prior to going shopping.  We can then proactively work with them for the entire process and provide a great value added service.”

Each participating credit union website has a banner linking it to the cuautocoupon web page, where members can retrieve their vehicle purchase coupon. The credit union will then be notified in real-time when their member is in the market to purchase a vehicle prior to visiting a dealership. The member can also apply for an auto loan with their credit union, as well as find a local participating dealership or national auto service where these coupons can be redeemed.

cuautocoupon also provides credit unions with auto loan refinance leads from their members who financed their vehicle purchase with an outside lending institution. As an added benefit to the program, members can save by redeeming a coupon at any local participating dealership to receive 10 percent off their next service, parts or accessories purchase.

In recent weeks, cuautocoupon has enrolled more 20 new-car dealerships, largely in the Southern California area. Dealers signed include Bozzani Volkswagen (Covina), Camino Real Chevrolet (Monterey Park), Fladeboe Volkswagen (Irvine), Miller Toyota (Anaheim), Orange County Chrysler Jeep Dodge Fiat (Costa Mesa), Renick Cadillac and Renick Subaru (Fullerton), Simpson Buick GMC (Buena Park), Simpson Chevrolet (Garden Grove) and Weseloh Nissan and Weseloh Kia (San Juan Capistrano).
