WALTHAM, Mass.  — DealerRater announced that Larry Cochran has joined its management team as senior vice president of Dealer Products and Services.

Cochran will have executive oversight of DealerRater’s client services and marketing areas, and will work to ensure that DealerRater’s Certified Dealer partners continue to have access to the company’s online reputation and social monitoring tools.

Since establishing the Certified Dealer Program in 2008, DealerRater has continuously enhanced the suite of review-gathering and leveraging tools offered to car dealerships. Cochran joins the DealerRater team after the launch of the company’s 360Certified, a premium level offering for the company’s Certified Dealer Program. It features a comprehensive online reputation and social monitoring platform.

“DealerRater is a fast-growing company that has built an excellent reputation as a leader in the industry, with well over half a million consumer reviews and more than 4,300 dealer clients across North America,” Cochran,a 15-year auto industry veteran, said. “With the recent launch of 360Certified, it’s a very exciting time to join the company and I look forward to working alongside my DealerRater colleagues.”

Prior to joining the company, Cochran spent more than a decade in key executive positions at ADP Dealer Services, most recently serving as vice president of digital solutions. Cochran also built a start-up Marketing Outsource Services business unit within ADP Dealer Services and also served as ADP Dealer Service’s director of operations and sales.

“Larry has an impressive track record of driving growth and improving business performance while maintaining a client-centric philosophy,” said Chip Grueter, president of DealerRater.  “His proven success in the industry and results-driven leadership make him the ideal fit for propelling DealerRater to the next level in terms of customer loyalty and product management.”
