January 31, 2013

ATLANTA – As part of the company’s continuing focus on enhancing its customer experience, Manheim appointed Allan Wilwayco to the newly created position of digital general manager. In this role, he will manage and execute Simulcast Everywhere and other new and enhanced mobile and digital products.

Additionally, Wilwayco will lead the development and delivery of a digital operating and sales strategy across the organization. Wilwayco brings more than 20 years of industry experience to his new position, having held a number of previous leadership roles at Manheim.

“Wilwayco brings exceptional knowledge, expertise and solid customer relationships to this important role,” said Tim Janego, East regional vice president and Wilwayco’s supervisor. “An early adopter of emerging technologies, Wilwayco is passionate about creating an enhanced understanding of the critical dependencies between digital products, services and operations that benefit our customers.”

In addition to naming a new digital general manager, Manheim’s Rick Burick was promoted to general sales manager of sales strategy. In Burick’s new role, he will oversee three teams that contribute to growing sales and enhancing service: sales strategy, sales effectiveness and Manheim’s trade desks. Burick has had a successful track record with Manheim, most recently leading a team of 11 managers responsible for the development of Manheim’s sales teams.

Additionally, the company announced that Kim Waterman will serve as the new auction manager for Manheim Central California. She will report to Julie Picard, Pacific market vice president. Previously, Waterman was an area marketing manager for Manheim. In her new role, Waterman will lead the local management and employee teams in continuing to grow the business and enhance the customer experience for dealers.

“To better serve our customers, whether they do business with us in-lane or online, it is imperative that we have the right people with the right skills in place,” said Susie Heins, vice president of dealer sales. “Having the right talent positioned and focused in these areas is a key part of how we will deliver on our commitment of providing exceptional services, products and customer experience.”
