ANAHEIM, Calif. —USA Today reported this week that a suit was filed against Fisker Automotive Friday after the automaker reportedly laid off 160 of its 213 employees.

According to the complaint, USA Today reports, the workers should have been “provided 60 days written notice” under the federal Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification Act and California labor laws.

In the suit, the former employees are seeking 60 days’ worth of wages and benefits.
