CLEVELAND — The Better Business Bureau issued an alert to consumers about AutosDirectOnline.com, a Cleveland, Ohio-based online used-car retailer, according to Cleveland.com. The media outlet reports that “consumers have complained the photos the online seller posts of its cars do not reflect rust or damage they found on the vehicles.”

But Shawn Payne, one of the owners of the online dealership, told Cleveland.com: "We're the eighth largest eBay dealer.” He argued that the 90 BBB complaints his company accrued in the last 36 months are minimal compared to the 10,000 sales transactions that took place during that same period of time.
