WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is charging Downtown Auto Sales of Palm Beaches with 10 violations of state law — including failure to abide by the contract, false financing, and title issues — after the used-car operation repossessed a customer’s vehicle, wptv.com reports.

Eddie Graham, whose vehicle was repossessed by the dealership, was issued a receipt after he made his last car payment. It claimed he owed more money for the tires. When he refused to pay the extra fee, the dealership repossessed his vehicle and never gave him the title. This was the fifth time the state has found violations at the dealership since 2011.
