TRENTON, N.J. — On Tuesday, New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission voted unanimously to ban the direct sale of vehicles to consumers. And because Tesla owns its own showrooms, it will no longer be able to sell vehicles in the state as of April 1, according to The Wall Street Journal

New Jersey is the third state to ban Tesla from selling cars directly to car buyers. The others are Texas and Arizona.
