ATLANTA — State and local officials seized two independent dealerships and 130 cars valued at around $1 million today after the dealerships’ owners were charged with odometer tampering, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

J D’s Auto Sales and JDS Auto Sales were padlocked and police arrested John Emomwen Egbe and his son, Sylvester Emomwen Egbe. John Egbe allegedly rolled back odometers by as much as 200,000 miles, officials said.
