CHARLES, Mo. — Customers of Mylenbusch Auto Sales, a used-car dealership, could lose the vehicles they purchased and the money they paid. That’s because the dealership abruptly closed its doors without handing over the titles to some of the cars it sold, Fox 2 Now reports.

An attorney representing the dealership’s owner, Erick Mylenbusch, told the news source that Mylenbusch failed to pay the dealers who arranged for him to move their low end stock — meaning those dealers still hold the vehicle titles. Mylenbusch’s assets have been liquidated to pay consumers back.
