The New Markets Group of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has announced that REDEX has selected the company as its document management solutions provider. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

As part of the agreement, Reynolds says it will provide REDEX and its 84 recreation vehicle (RV) dealerships with a complete range of forms and related products. REDEX is a nationwide network of independent RV retailers that provides discount pricing to customers.

"REDEX members are recognized throughout the RV industry as maintaining high customer satisfaction while providing top-rate financial services," said Paul Skogebo, president of REDEX as well as Robert Crist and Company RV, in Mesa, Ariz. "These assets will only be heightened by our agreement with Reynolds and Reynolds. Its superior document management offerings and services will enable REDEX to further streamline the business processes of our retailers and, ultimately, save our customers money."

According to Tom Suttmiller, senior vice president of Reynolds Integrated Document Solutions group, "By adapting our knowledge and experience of providing streamlined document consolidation and packaged solutions, Reynolds is able to provide REDEX with exactly the document management solutions they want and need. Our integrated technology and processes, coupled with our best-in-class customer service and support will help REDEX retailers to maximize their business efforts while increasing their bottom line."

The company says this agreement was driven by Reynolds' recently-created New Markets Group, established to provide manufacturers, retailers and others with a broad portfolio of outsourced solutions for improving their business results. The New Markets Group leverages Reynolds' 75 years of automotive retailing experience by applying that expertise as well as Reynolds' solutions and infrastructure to selected markets that have similar processes and customer requirements.

"The agreement with REDEX is a great example of how the New Markets Group is delivering material, sustainable and value-producing services," said Doug Ventura, vice president, general counsel and head of the Reynolds New Markets Group. "With the flexibility and integration capabilities of our solutions, we can deliver real value for REDEX and its nationwide network of retailers."

REDEX is a nationwide network of independent RV retailers that provide discount pricing to consumers through more than 84 major independent RV dealerships, all of them family owned and operated. REDEX retailers are located coast-to-coast with combined annual sales of more than $1.6 billion. REDEX negotiates contracts that it says allow its member retailers to join together to buy goods and services in bulk at lower prices, passing these savings on to their customers.
