MELVILLE, N.Y. -- DealerTrack Inc., a technology services company providing online auto finance solutions, has signed an integration agreement with Advent Resources Inc.

As a result, direct DealerTrack connectivity will become available to automotive dealers using the Advent point-of-sale solution. This will help Advent's approximately 300 dealer customers further streamline the auto financing process, said DealerTrack.

The first phase of the integration will provide direct connectivity to the DealerTrack F&I Tool Suite, which permits pulling credit bureaus, submitting credit applications to more than 60 participating financing sources, and monitoring application status.

With direct connectivity between the two systems, Advent dealers will be able to import data from their point-of-sale systems to DealerTrack and back with a simple click, eliminating double data entry. DealerTrack said it also offers Advent dealers a host of other time-saving capabilities, such as payoff quotes and dealer reserve information.

"This integration will have a significant impact on how Advent dealers do business," said Mark O'Neil, president and chief executive officer of DealerTrack. "We look forward to working with Advent to help its customers further reduce costly errors and speed the entire auto financing process."

"For months our customers have asked when this integration with DealerTrack would be available," said Tim Gill, president and chief executive officer of Advent Resources Inc. "This agreement is a natural step to ensure that our dealers have access to the most advanced technology to make their financing process run as smoothly as possible."

Looking ahead, DealerTrack anticipates integration of its eContracting product with Advent's point-of-sale systems. Launched in late 2002, eContracting automates the contracting portion of the financing process, allowing dealers to electronically secure customer signatures and transmit contract information to participating financing sources.
