BURLINGTON, Vt.— Dealer.com has announced it will automatically link its customers to Google Base, a new outlet offered by Google for posting and searching categorized content, including vehicles. This free service offered to all Dealer.com customers, will automatically and seamlessly export auto dealers’ inventory to Google in real time, giving local car buyers the ability to research the availability of vehicles based on their own specified criteria. They will also find local auto dealers’ matching inventory in their search results on Froogle, Google Maps and in the main Google Web search.

“Whether an auto dealer has 100 or 1,000 vehicles on its lot, Dealer.com will make its inventory part of the largest and most utilized search engine in the world, creating additional exposure to millions of people each day,” said Mark Bonfigli, president and CEO of Dealer.com. “This is another example of how Dealer.com supports auto dealers in their quest for a targeted online presence by opening another strategic avenue for reaching their customers.”

Once Dealer.com exports auto dealers’ inventory, local car buyers will find the available vehicles in the Vehicle category of Google Base. There, shoppers can search by make, model, location, condition, price, color, year, vehicle type and mileage. When car buyers conduct a search, a link to Dealer.com’s customers’ relevant inventory will come up at the top of the results page. The search results will link directly to the appropriate car on the dealer’s Web site.

Google Base is another offering in the Dealer.com suite of e-marketing tools that continue to help auto dealers strategically reach their customers online. Dealer.com offers its clients the only fully-integrated Web solution including Web site development, search engine marketing, search engine optimization and lead management.
