Las Vegas — Innovative Aftermarket Services President Robert Corbin was honored by the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals for his career-long contribution to excellence in F&I at the fourth annual F&I Conference. The AFIP F&I Eagle Award is conferred on individuals or organizations who demonstrate, by their actions, a commitment to the growth and development of the in-dealership F&I process.

In making the presentation, David Robertson, AFIP executive director, said, “The Association owes a debt of gratitude to industry leaders such as Bob Corbin, whose unfailing support has been a major contributor to the organization’s success. Bob’s living proof of what’s possible when words are put into action.” Robertson also noted that Mr. Corbin served on AFIP’s Board and earned the AFIP Certified F&I Professional designation. IAS is an industry-level member and is among the leaders in certifying in-store F&I practitioners.

In accepting the award, Corbin said, “As a founding AFIP board member, I have supported the development of the association throughout my career. IAS is proud of our association with AFIP, and also proud that 100 percent of our sales team and smart dealer products software development team are AFIP certified.”

Corbin joined IAS in 2000 and has been an integral part of the success of the company and the development of the technology solutions since his arrival. Corbin has been in the automotive warranty business since 1978 in various marketing and sales management positions. He has experience as a field general agent, which provides him unique insight into how best to market to automobile dealers and recruit and manage a national distribution system.
