Brookfield, Wis. — CheckFreePay, now part of Fiserv Inc., a leading provider of information technology services to the financial industry, today announced the appointment of four new members to its walk-in bill payment leadership team. Tony Anthony and Mark McAlexander have joined CheckFreePay as national account executives, while Paul Cole has been named sales director and Francis Falino has been named service director.

agent locations nationwide.”

Tony Anthony, national account executive

Tony Anthony has more than 15 years of experience in sales and account management in the financial services and payments industries, having worked with companies such as MoneyGram, Western Union and First Data Corporation. Anthony’s previous experience in national account roles with both MoneyGram and Western Union included selling to and managing multiple national and regional strategic accounts. In his new role, Anthony will be responsible for sales of CheckFreePay products and services to national and regional retail chains in the Western United States. Anthony joins CheckFreePay from First Data Payment Services, where he was director of client relations.

Mark McAlexander, national account executive

As a national account executive, Mark McAlexander will be responsible for sales of CheckFreePay products and services

to national and regional retailers in the Eastern United States. McAlexander has 15 years of experience in sales, market

development and account management with companies such as Comdata Corporation and Western Union Financial Services. He spent nearly ten years with Western Union Financial Services, where, as senior director of market development, he oversaw marketing, sales and overall retail network performance for the company portfolio of services in Atlanta, Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville and Birmingham. Most recently, McAlexander served as national account executive at Comdata Corporation and was responsible for business to business sales of a payroll pay card solution.

Paul Cole, director of sales

As director of sales, Paul Cole will manage the CheckFreePay retail sales team for the Eastern United States, leading his

managers to focus on recruitment of regional retail chains for the CheckFreePay walk-in bill payment service. Cole has

20 years of experience in sales, account management and marketing development in the financial services and payments

industries. Most recently, he served as vice president of national sales and vice president of new product development for

Purpose Solutions, a subsidiary of CompuCredit Corporation, where he oversaw the development and sale of financial products to retail locations. Cole was also directly responsible for the completion of new products developed and launched through company owned locations and marketed to external retail outlets. Previously, he served as president and general manager of Century II / Xpress Cash Advance, and as area vice president with Western Union Financial Services.

Francis Falino, service director

Francis Falino has more than 15 years of experience in sales, service, marketing and business development with companies such as Merrill Lynch and Orlandi Valuta. As service director at CheckFreePay, Falino will oversee the implementation of walk-in bill payment services at agent locations and will be responsible for product and compliance training and merchandising for a network of approximately 6,000 agent locations in the Western United States. He will also manage key biller relationships throughout the Western Region. Previously, Falino was the co-founder and president of CoDeX Group, a consulting firm dedicated to assisting money services businesses with anti-money laundering legislation compliance. Falino has also served as vice president of sales and service for Orlandi Valuta, a subsidiary of Western Union Financial Services.
