CHICAGO – Cars.com will host a Webinar focused on helping Internet sales managers drive more business for their stores and be more successful in their careers. The free, hour-long event, "The ISM Survival Guide," begins at noon EDT this Friday, July 11. The workshop, designed for new and veteran ISMs, is part of Cars.com’s monthly DealerADvantage Live Webinar series.

"ISMs face increasing pressure to generate traffic and to close more deals, particularly given today's changing economic climate," said Kathy Kimmel, Cars.com manager of automotive consulting and dealer training. "We'll examine the Internet tools and tactics they can leverage through their online programs to connect with in-market shoppers and produce results."

The Webinar will be led by Kimmel, an automotive retail and consulting veteran with more than 15 years industry experience. Joining Kimmel for the workshop will be Ed Goldstein, Internet sales manager for Wigder Chevrolet, Livingston, N.J.; Internet sales expert Cory L. Mosley, of Mosley Automotive Group; and D. Rawls, director of Internet sales and marketing, Saturn-Hummer of Union City, Union City, Ga. Kimmel and the panel will share their perspective on how ISMs can:

• Put email templates and phone scripts into action to boost performance

• Manage time to help them get more out of their day

• Implement new practices and refine existing sales processes to close more deals

• Set realistic goals and manage internal expectations

• Drive results that get them noticed
