LEANDER, Texas — Innovative Aftermarket Systems (IAS), a provider of F&I aftermarket programs to automotive dealerships, has appointed Bernard "Bernie" Buselmeier as its chief financial officer.

Buselmeier begins work in his new role immediately.

He joins IAS with over three decades of financial management experience. "Bernie's wealth of expertise in auto and insurance finance will be a great asset to the IAS team," said IAS president and CEO, Bob Corbin.

Buselmeier’s most recent position was with GMAC Insurance Personal Lines, where he served as executive vice president and CFO for the last ten years. At GMACIPL, Buselmeier oversaw an annual revenue budget in excess of $1.4 billion, and led many expense efficiency initiatives accruing over $30 million in operational savings. Buselmeier also spent 17 years at Detroit-based Motors Insurance Group, the largest provider of automobile extended warranties.
