WASHINGTON — The National Automobile Dealers Association has elected Stephen Wade as chairman for 2011. He is currently vice chairman of the NADA and has been a member of the association since 1973.
Wade is president of Stephen Wade Auto Center in St. George, Utah. His franchises include Chevrolet, Cadillac, Chrysler, Nissan, Mazda and a powersports store that includes Yamaha, Honda, Polaris and Suzuki. Previously, Wade has served as the NADA's region IV vice chairman and on the policy and bylaws, ATAE/NADA, finance, and government relations committees. He also served as president of the Utah Automobile Dealers Association in 1981. |
The NADA board of directors also elected William P. Underriner as 2011 vice chairman. He is president of Underriner Motors in Billings, Mont.
The election was held Sept. 21, at a meeting of the board of directors in Washington. Wade and Underriner will officially take office at the NADA Convention & Exposition in San Francisco, Feb. 5-7.
