LAWRENCE, Mass., June 6, 2011 – Commonwealth Motors is proud to announce it's celebrating 20 years of serving the transportation needs of northern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and Maine.
The dealer group opened its doors on June 6, 1991 with a Chevrolet franchise. Since then, Commonwealth has added Kia, Honda, Volkswagen, and just recently opened New England's newest Nissan dealership (http://www.commonwealthnissan.com).
In addition, Commonwealth just finished a major renovation of its Volkswagen showroom and will open an all-new Chevrolet facility in the spring of 2012. According to owner Charles Daher, "Twenty years is a long time to be servicing our customers, but believe me ... we're just getting started!"
The dealer group is marking its 20th anniversary with customer gifts, employee cookouts and will be staging a special event for employees who have been with Commonwealth since its founding.
