ATLANTA — General Motors has brought back closed sales to Manheim Arena Illinois and Manheim Pennsylvania. These closed sales are open only to GM dealerships and are designed to help them build their pre-owned vehicle inventories.

“We value our partnership with Manheim,” said Dan Kennedy, national remarketing manager for General Motors. “We are confident that these closed sales at Manheim Arena Illinois and Manheim Pennsylvania will help our franchised dealers maintain their pre-owned vehicle inventories.”

Manheim Arena Illinois, located in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook, hosts weekly open sales every Tuesday and closed sales twice per month on Thursdays. Manheim Pennsylvania, the largest auto auction in the world, hosts weekly open sales every Friday. And beginning last month, the auction hosts a closed sale every fourth Thursday of the month.

“We’re delighted that General Motors has brought closed sales back to Manheim,” said Mike McKinney, RVP of East Region Operations. “We’re proud to partner with General Motors once again to help their franchises build inventory. Our organizations have had a long history of working together, and we’re excited to enter into this partnership.”
