ATTLEBORO, Mass. — Earlier this month, a used-car dealership was given a 60-day notice to reduce the number of vehicles on its lot. Stateline Auto Brokers’ business license allows it to have 30 vehicles on its property, but it exceeded that number by 185, The Sun Chronicle reports.

The city council voted to issue the dealership a temporary license allowing it continue doing business, despite being in violation of city law. Some of the extra inventory was reportedly parked in an unlicensed lot across the street from the dealership.
