IRVINE, Calif. — LoJack (div. CalAmp) announced the launch of “next-generation” consumer telematics solutions. Through a combination of CalAmp core telematics services and peerless LoJack stolen vehicle recovery technology, the LoJack brand is expanding across the U.S., making SVR and enhanced telematics services available nationwide, according to the announcement.

These new connected vehicle services were designed to enable dealers to realize additional revenue streams through this next-generation LoJack telematics bundle with safety and security features to expedite crash response and help save lives all across the country, said Michael Burdiek, president and CEO of CalAmp.

“The latest LoJack technology greatly expands our footprint and provides dealers across the U.S. with telematics services that enhance the customer experience and help drive bottom line financial results,” Burdiek said. “As consumers become more aware of what connected vehicle technology can offer, real-time data and analytics will be key to developing new value-added services that deliver increased revenue opportunities for dealers while providing peace of mind for their customers.”
