TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Auto Data Direct Inc. has appointed Sabrina Anderson and Dan Bernethy as California sales representatives to help dealers comply with a new law set to take effect this July.

In July, California dealers will be required to provide car buyers with vehicle history reports produced by the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System, which is maintained by the U.S. Department of Justice. Last month, a bill that would have allowed dealers to source their reports from commercial services like Carfax was rejected by a Senate committee. Auto Data Direct provides access to NMVTIS reports.

"Sabrina and Dan are out in the field visiting with California dealers and ensuring they have the tools needed to comply with this new law when it goes into effect on July 1st," said Jim Taylor, President. "We're very pleased to welcome them to our team."

Anderson will be responsible for dealer support in Southern California, while Bernethy's territory includes the northern part of the state.
