MINNEAPOLIS — Outsell, a digital marketing software company, announced that it has received the 2012 Silver Stevie Award for Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Outsell's Chevy Drip Campaign was recognized for its creative use of behaviorally targeted e-mail marketing to connect auto dealers with consumers. Using Outsell's Digital Engagement Platform, Chevrolet launched a multi-stage e-mail marketing campaign to better engage its dealers with thousands of in-market consumers and improve sales.

The Chevy Drip campaign enabled Chevrolet and its dealers to announce special deals and newly released incentives, increasing the urgency for consumers to buy. A series of triggers based on consumers' click behavior boosted consumer engagement, resulting in dramatic increases in conversions to sales, as well as delivering 260 percent higher open rates and click rates that were 65 percent higher than typical benchmarks.

"We would like to congratulate everyone who worked on this project," said Outsell CEO Mike Wethington. "Outsell's digital engagement platform combined with the marketing program developed by Agency 720 produced a highly successful program for Chevrolet and its dealers."

More than 3,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s American Business Awards, which were presented on June 18 in New York. For more details, click here.
