LAS VEGAS — The 2012 CRM Convention, Industry Summit’s newest conference, has added Mike Overy to its list of speakers. The 30-year industry veteran will share strategies for making CRM systems a major driver of a dealership’s business development initiatives.

Overy has held virtually every position in the car business, from sales representative and manager to dealer and performance coach. He currently serves as the managing partner at Proactive Dealer Solutions, and has constructed 3,500 business development centers throughout his career.

Scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10, at 5 p.m., Overy will present “Driving Utilization of Your CRM Through a Business Development Initiative.” He will show attendees how to create a business development strategy for both sales and service, as well as how to set up the infrastructure and performance standards required for success.

The 2012 CRM Convention is the industry’s first and only show dedicated solely to customer relationship management. It is scheduled for Sept. 10-11 at the Paris Las Vegas, and is being held in conjunction with F&I and Showroom’s Industry Summit 2012.

“Since joining forces with Auto Dealer Monthly, we’ve been able to expand the reach of the magazine’s annual conference to cover topics dealerships are wrestling with right now,” said Gregory Arroyo, editor of F&I and Showroom magazine. “Greg Goebel and his team do a stellar job and I have no doubt their new CRM Convention will hit the mark.

“Most of all, dealers will have the opportunity to get their F&I, BDC and Internet sales staffers trained by the best in the business.”
