LAS VEGAS — F&I and Showroom magazine announced Monday evening its Dealer of the Year and F&Idol overall winner during an awards ceremony at Industry Summit 2012 in Las Vegas.
Vancouver, Wash.-based Dick Hannnah Dealerships received the honor of Dealer of the Year, after winning a Pacesetter title in 2011. Dina Wilson, finance director of Timbrook Automotive in Cumberland, Md., was named this year’s F&Idol overall winner for her video presentation on vehicle service contracts.
“This has been one of the toughest years for our judges,” said Gregory Arroyo, executive editor for F&I and Showroom magazine. “Not only did we receive the most nominations in the seven years I’ve been here, but the field was fantastic. Just about every entry had a great story to tell.”
The six Pacesetters honored this year during Industry Summit were:

Tire and Wheel: Chris Bell, Freehold Buick GMC, Freehold, N.J.
Other (Prepaid Maintenance): Jeremy Johnston, Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights, Mich.
The six Pacesetters were awarded conference passes and hotel accommodations for Industry Summit 2012 by contest-sponsor Resource Automotive, while all of the F&Idol finalists received a cash prize of $1,000, and were provided airfare and hotel accommodations to the conference. Wilson, the overall winner of the contest, sponsored by Innovative Aftermarket Systems, received a $2,500 cash prize.
