IRVINE, Calif. — Procon Analytics is now offering exclusive territories to automotive general agents interested in adding the company’s Connected Dealer Services solution to their lineups, the company announced. The CDS platform includes a multifaceted dealer-facing inventory-management solution and a sell-through consumer app, Elo GPS, that customers can use to monitor vehicle health, among other features, while staying connected with their selling dealer.

Executive Sales Director David Hogan said CDS is a perfect choice for agents seeking new ways to enhance existing dealer relationships while generating incremental revenue for their agencies and dealerships with a direct-from-the-manufacturer connected-car solution that improves the customer service and vehicle ownership experience.

“The majority of agents using our system have found it can be their single biggest source of revenue, and unlike any other F&I product, the customer sees it, feels it, works with it, and uses it to protect their assets and families,” Hogan said. “Agents know consumers need to connect more intrinsically with their dealerships as emerging technology is commanding deeply personal interactions with consumers.  It’s critical for agents to be able to say, ‘I’ve got something you’re not doing now, and if you are doing something like this, CDS is superior and essential to your growth, and here’s why.”

Hogan noted that the CDS hardware takes only 10 to 15 minutes to install on each new vehicle in the dealer’s inventory, after which the system immediately begins sharing data dealers can use to locate each unit and monitor battery levels to ensure a given vehicle is ready for a demo. When a vehicle is sold with the solution in place, dealers can monitor maintenance schedules and mileage to determine when it needs to be brought back in for service, contact customers when a diagnostic trouble code appears, and offer service specials, among other features.

“This is industry-leading technology that offers a broader and deeper connection to customers, all in real time,” Hogan said. “What agents and dealers need now more than ever is a direct bridge to their clients and customers. That’s what CDS does.”
