Four weeks of intensive F&I training designed to improve back-end profits and protect dealerships from costly lawsuits. Topics include F&I menu training, deal structuring, leasing guidelines, agreements and disclosures, lease calculations, such aftermarket products as extended service contracts, guaranteed auto protection, satellite tracking systems, remote vehicle security systems and code marking systems. Also included are interest and finance charge calculations, APR and add-on, simple interest, early payoffs, calculating finance reserve and dealer rate participation. All laws, rules and regulations are covered, including Regulations Z, M and B, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act, Used Care Rule, IRS Cash Reporting Rules, Patriot Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and disclosing procedures and ethics. Department of Motor Vehicle rules and forms are covered, with lab time devoted to printing forms, finance and lease contracts on Advent Resources F&I software. Loan structuring of prime and non-prime deals, budgeting, lender relations, Internet finance procedures, goal-setting and and product objection handling are discussed in detail.
